Hong Kong is quite hectic to live sometimes. We escaped to Thailand for our birthday! Emi Wong and I knew each other since university. We did from engagement style shoot in Hong Kong to her real engagement in Phuket! And surprisingly to know Emi and my birthdays are in January with one day gap. We gather in one of our

Something new this time is we did the shoot on film! Emi has never tried in film and we explored something new each time. They have some questions in mind while I was loading my film:
Chad: Why do you use film?
Amy: The colour is different! When you look at the skin tone, it’s more accurate.
Emi: What’re the differences between digital and film?
Amy: First, light tolerance. For the sunny condition especially in the afternoon in Thailand, it would be way too sunny and the details from the digital data would be lost. But
Second, the texture. From digital, the photos would be more flat while for film, the photos would be able to include a rich range of textures and dimension, especially because I use the medium format film camera, in which the film sensor is a lot larger than the full frame camera.
Chad: What do you get after using film? Where do you send to afterwards?
Amy: I would then send my film rolls to film labs in the
Chad: Why don’t you do it in Hong Kong?
Amy: It’s not as good as those in
Chad: Wao! That’s expensive!
Amy: Yea… But the
Chad: Is there no more digitals in after using film?
Amy: There are two steps in

“La vie est une fleur dont l’amour est le miel,”
(Life is like a flower of which love is like honey.)
Growing love from Paris
With baby girl Fleur (meaning of Flower in French), we can feel the lingering love all over in this family under the magic of “honey” in Victor Hugo’s word.
Rooted the seed of love from Baby’s name
Although baby Fleur is from an Australian family, baby Fleur got a French name as her parents Gabby and Tony got engaged in France back then! They named their baby as a way to celebrate and remember their engagement in France. It’s like a living fairy tale!
Let’s get drowned in love of this love story…
Shared parenting activity: Read with kids
We have so much fun in reading and playing with Fleur! Gabby shared with us that she loves reading, so she’s delightful to read over the stories over and over!
Precious Family Time at Beach
We enjoyed a lovely morning in Repulse Bay for the shoot, at G&T’s
I wish someone has taken pictures for me when I was a kid with my parents! So I know how much they love me ever since and then I would treasure the moment a lot.
Hope you enjoy as much as we do for the photo shoot with this sweet family!

It’s truly an honour to capture the love story between the two lovebirds Jane & Steve, who now lives in Hong Kong. They shared how they got together and shared their secrets for long-term relationships for us.
What interested to you for your husband?
We met in a Christian church fellowship on campus & became really great friends; we both had a common vision to go back to Asia & impact the people there instead of living the ‘material American dream.’ Steve is totally opposite in character. His strengths of great adventure, confidence, honesty, pioneering spirit & easy going nature balances out my weaknesses. Really grateful for his leadership & innovative spirit.
What interested to you for your wife?
Jane is the most joyful and committed Christian that I know. Her love for God and people attracted me the most and that deep down I know that somehow we were meant for each other! She fully supports us with a quiet & gentle spirit in all our missionary journeys without complaints or criticisms.
What is your key to long term relationship?
Spending consistent one on one time each week, clear boundaries & honest communication, giving each other forgiveness & more grace when we encounter friction; lots of laughter & travels together; ….these are some of the keys for our
