Sheung Wan Engagement | Jessica & Goran

A Conversation with Jessica

When Jessica found me, she is in prep of the New Zealand trip for the amazing mountain view! It’s touching to know she would love to have some photos taken in Hong Kong so we decided to include some city landscape view in Hong Kong. It’s surprising to know she would like to take photos with us as she saw photos I took for her friend Jason before! We had a walk around the quiet artistic district in Hong Kong, to enjoy the city beauty and some lovely boutiques around the corner in Sheung Wan.

Valentine Couple Session | Helen & Kenneth

“For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul.”
Judy Garland

Little Stories the Moment by Amy HK Valentine Couple Session

It’s a mix of warmth and coolness under the weather recently. We decided to walk around the reservoir for this valentine couple session. Helen & Kenneth shared how they got together from university and walked through the seven years of love together.

Helen is a lovely friend that we went through school from middle school, high school up to university. It’s a special feeling to witness her from studies to love with her pure personality keeping the same as always.

Hooray! It’s almost the end of Oct… beach time!

Hooray! It’s almost the end of October. Thanks god that we’ve gone through another month! Why not take a break?

We went to a wonderful beach in Los Angeles. The beach has a beautiful name, “Thousand Steps Beach”, which also infers an obvious meaning. Haha We need to take some steps to walk down to the beach!

Are you willing to do so if you need to walk thousand steps to see/ to photograph with a great beach?
Yes, I am!!
Finally,…
We figured out there were several hundreds of steps to go…
It’s much less than I imagined…
It’s always true if you want a great scene with less people,
Walk MORE 🙂

It’s a charming beach with lovely small houses building across the coastline. Only a few of people can be found here.
What can you do without the crowd? Take a DEEP breath to feel the air.

Look at the subtle colour change, from light blue, lemon yellow and peach orange. Who’s the one in your mind that you would like to enjoy the sunset with?

So I enjoyed it with my love and my great photography friend Mallory Dawn. Mallory is such a sweet girl! Can’t wait to see more of her photos!
Regarding venue of shooting, people always complain about going far. But the fact always proves, the further you go, the better pictures you get. If you want the best scene, be prepared to go far and further, away from the crowd.
It’s high time for you to set a location! It can be in hometown or somewhere else, which you’ve been dreaming of.
Enjoy the sunset with your special ones!

Enjoying the day with Benson and Kelly

Enjoying the day
It’s a joy to do a shooting for my lovely friend Benson and Kelly. It’s a miracle to see them getting together gradually from close friends to couples when we had our university alumni meetings.

Kelly is sweet and always by the side of Benson. Benson is active and both of them are chatty! We have been working hard for some alumni activities to unite people – United 14. Connecting people doesn’t just go by the alumni gatherings, but also through photo shootings.

I love taking photographs as a way to connect people hand in hand. (My heart is melting!) It’s high time for me to create images that speak their love story and belong solely to them, for days and months to come.
Do you have someone in mind that you would like photos with, to be counted on in the days or months to go? Go take pictures and make it a great one!
