ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

OPENING

“Capturing Moments, Inspiring Change: An Impressionist Journey by Amy Law” explores how the works of contemporary Hong Kong photographer and artist Amy Law draw inspiration from French Impressionism, particularly in their portrayal of light and shadow, as well as feminine and familial themes. This marks her debut solo exhibition.

Law has a deep appreciation for Impressionism, especially in the works of artists like Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. As the founder of the photography studio Little Stories, she captures the spontaneous shifts in light through her portraits, travel photography, and depictions of women’s empowerment and diversity in everyday encounters. Her work reflects a sense of place across Hong Kong, France, and beyond.
