Upon Home Renovation, I hope to create some artpieces that are more liberating and abstract which allow one to meditate, while connecting with the overall Chinese antique vibe that my family loves.

Landscape paintings, antique wood decoration across home from furnitures, to wall engravings, I hope to demonstrate a reflection of the items in a contemporary way.

Therefore, a few colours are chosen which are representative of the surroundings - green from nature of landscape painting, brown honouring the Chinese antique wood furnitures, orange as the colour that hints a contemporary vibe highlight.

It is a wall in living room in front of sofa where the family gathers and chitchat from a day. The wall is a symbol of which different culture. time periods, art forms come together to form like a cascade when the antique and contemporary meets. The wav parents share their ideas is like how the river emerges between old and new, everyday, forming clashes for the better.
